Instagram is introducing a new feature suggesting content they believe you might find interesting at the end of your feed. Known as Suggested Posts, it's a fresh way to encourage you to keep your eyes glued to the photo and video-sharing app after you've scrolled through all the recent posts from accounts you follow.

The new feature appears in a new location just below the You're All Caught Up notification. It displays content from accounts similar to those you follow and posts similar to content you like. Additionally, the Suggested Posts feature gives Instagram a fresh interface, where it can showcase ads alongside content suggested from accounts you don't follow but Instagram thinks you might like. For advertisers, that means more opportunities for people to see their enticing ads.
Robby Stein, Instagram's Product Director, shares insights about the new feature: 'Our goal is to clarify the moment you've viewed all content so you can decide how you want to make the most of your time. We've observed people continue searching for more posts of interest after catching up on the latest updates in their feed over the past 48 hours. So, we want to learn from that and make it easier for those who choose to delve a bit deeper.'
With the emergence of suggested posts right below the You're All Caught Up notification, it seems like Instagram immerses you in an endless content supply even after you've seen every post in the last 2 days from those you follow. The new feature will roll out globally starting today.
