Preparation:
- Install Universal USB Installer software on your computer. Download: Universal USB Installer
- A USB drive >= 4GB.
Step 1: Once downloaded, launch the Universal USB Installer
Step 2: Open the downloaded program and select I agree.
Step 3: Upon launching the program, at Step 1, select the ISO version of Linux, specifically ubuntu. You'll notice that Universal USB Installer supports numerous versions and different operating systems. Furthermore, Universal USB Installer also assists in downloading files if they are not available, eliminating the need to search online.
Step 4: At Step 2, click on Browse and navigate to the location where the ISO file of the corresponding operating system is located.
- Click Open.
Step 5: In step 3, choose your USB drive where Linux will be installed. Check Format I;\ Drive… if you want to format the USB drive.
Step 6: Step 4 Choose the size of Linux when installing on USB; typically, 2GB-4GB is sufficient. Then press Create to initiate the process.
The process of installing Linux on the USB is currently underway.
After the process is complete, press Close to close the window. Proceed to restart your computer, adjust the BIOS settings to boot from USB.
After selecting Boot via USB, a DOS screen will appear. Choose the first option and press Enter.
