Installation Guide for MyPublicWiFi
Step 1: Open the folder containing the MyPublicWiFi installation file saved as mypublicwifi.exe.
Step 5: In this window, you can review the previous settings you just configured, including the Folder Name that appears in the Start Menu and additional options like placing an icon on the Desktop.
If you notice any discrepancies, click Back to revisit the settings, or if everything looks good, click Install to begin the installation process.
The installation process takes a certain amount of time depending on the computer configuration you are using.
Step 6: The MyPublicWiFi installation process is complete. Choose one of the following options:
- Yes, Restart the computer now: Restart the computer immediately upon closing this window.
- No, I will restart the computer later: Restart the computer later.
However, according to Mytour, it is best to restart the computer for the program to work most efficiently.
Click Finish to close the installation process.

Guide to using MyPublicWiFi to share WiFi on a Laptop
Step 1: On the MyPublicWiFi interface, in the Settings section, check Automatic Hotspot Configuration and fill in the necessary setup parameters.
- Network name (SSID): WiFi broadcast name
- Network key: WiFi password (if you want to restrict unauthorized connections). Note: the password must be more than 8 characters long.
- Enable Internet Sharing: Select the network sharing protocol
Step 2: Click Set up and Start Hotspot to initiate the WiFi sharing process. The program will automatically load for a certain period until it transitions to the Stop Hotspot message, indicating that the WiFi sharing process is complete.
