The above method applies only if your Windows 7/8.1 is licensed. If it's a cracked version, the method below won't be effective.
Install Windows 10 from Windows 7/8.1 while maintaining the license, no need for an upgrade
Note: It's recommended to backup Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 for recovery in case of glitches
Step 1: First, download Windows 10 to your device. Next, download Windows USB/DVD Download Tool to write it to a disc or USB.
Step 2: Open File Explorer, then go to USB with the address Windowsx64sources or Windowsx32sources. After that, you need to copy the file “gatherosstate.exe” to the desktop.
Step 3: Right-click on gatherosstate.exe and choose Run as administrator.
At this point, a new file named “GenuineTicket.xml” will appear on the screen. This file contains licensing information. Save this file and copy it somewhere so that it can be used after installing Windows 10.
Step 4: After the above step, proceed to install Windows 10 as usual.
Step 5: Once Windows 10 is installed, copy the previously saved “GenuineTicket.xml” file to the path C:ProgramDataMicrosoftWindowsClipSVCGenuineTicket
Finally, restart your computer to complete the process.
