2.1. Parameters within the application:
Observing the screen, you will find comprehensive information about your computer scanned and displayed by CrystalDiskInfo, including:
- Health Status: Evaluates the system's health, categorized with 4 colors:
- Good (Green): Indicates that your hard drive is in good condition without any issues.
- Warning (Yellow): Indicates that your hard drive is experiencing problems.
- Bad (Red): The worst status, indicating possible issues with the read head, motor wear, scratched surface, or overheating...
- Gray: If this status is present, your hard drive is facing issues, but the software cannot accurately determine the specific problems.
- Temperature: The current temperature of your computer. If the temperature is below 49 degrees, it's normal; between 50 and 55, consider adding additional cooling, and above 55, your hard drive is facing a serious issue.
- Total Host Reads: The total data read by the hard drive up to the present moment.
- Total Host Write: The total data written by the hard drive up to the present moment.
Furthermore, CrystalDiskInfo also updates detailed hardware information such as Power On Count, Power On Hours, Firmware, Serial Number, and more. This allows you to accurately assess the working condition and wear and tear of the device.

- Auto Detection: Set the time to detect when the hard drive encounters issues.
- Integer Values List: Set the counting coefficient in DEC and HEX.
- Startup Delay: Set the startup delay time for the hard drive.
- Resident Type: Choose to hide or show the resident type on the taskbar.
