Installation and Usage of Microsoft Teams on Mobile Phones

The process of installing and using Microsoft Teams on Android and iOS phones is essentially the same. Mytour will use an iPhone for guidance and illustration, while Android users can refer to and follow along.

1. Installing Microsoft Teams
First, users choose the version suitable for their device and proceed to download.

At the app download interface, tap the Get

button. The system will automatically download and install. Once done, tap the Open button to access the app.

2. Registering for a Microsoft Teams Account
Step 1: Open the Microsoft Teams app on your phone. Tap the Free sign-up button below.
Next, for easier operation on iPhone, tap the Safari icon at the bottom corner of the screen to open the browser.

Step 2: Enter your Email address then tap Next .
In the purpose section, select For work then tap Next .

Step 3: Next, press the Create account and Password buttons to register for using Microsoft Teams

Step 4: You will receive the Email Verification Code from Microsoft Teams sent to the email address you provided, then press Next .
Enter additional information First Name and Last Name, Company Name , Country or Region . Finally, press Set up Teams .

Step 5: After successful registration, the system will display a notification requesting to open Microsoft Teams on the app interface. At this point, press Open and proceed to log in.

Step 6: If this is your first time using Microsoft Teams on your phone, the system will ask for some permissions. Quickly agree by selecting Allow and Next .
After completing the setup, press OK .

3. Inviting Others to Join a Team
Step 1: On the main interface of Microsoft Teams, click on the Teams section in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Click on the three-dot icon next to the team name. A dropdown menu will appear, where you select Manage members.

Step 3: In the Team members window, click on Add member with the person icon and plus sign at the top corner of the screen.
Step 4: In the Add section, enter the user's Email address, in the suggestions section, select:
- Invite as member
- Invite as guest
Finally, click Done to complete the process of inviting others to join your Microsoft Teams team.

4. Making Calls on Microsoft Teams
Step 1: On the Microsoft Teams app workspace, click on the Calls section in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: In the To: section, enter the Email address of the user you want to call. Then click on the Camera icon to make a video call.

Immediately, the system will establish contact with the Microsoft Teams account you need as illustrated below.
