* Things to Prepare for the Update
- Download Android 9 Rom File for Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus HERE.

- Have you installed TWRP Recovery for your Samsung Galaxy S9 yet? If not, you can download and install the TWRP App for Android HERE.

To perform the Android P 9.0 upgrade for your Samsung Galaxy phone, follow these steps:
Step 1 : You will need to extract 2 files: Android 9.0 Rom and Gapps.
(Android 9.0 Rom file format is .IMG, and Gapps is .ZIP).
Step 2 : You will perform Factory Reset on your Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus to erase all data on your phone.

Step 3 : After completing the factory reset process, we will connect the Galaxy S9, S9 Plus phone and transfer 2 Android P Rom files and Gapps that have been downloaded and extracted above to the phone.
Note : You should prioritize copying these 2 installation files to the phone's memory card.
Step 4 : After completing the above steps, we will use the Galaxy S9, S9 Plus device to enter Recovery mode .

Step 5 : In the installed TWRP Recovery interface, we will press select Wipe, choose Format Data , and confirm Continue to wipe data on the Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus.
Step 6 : Returning to the TWRP Recovery interface, we will install the Android 9.0 P Rom that was previously copied to the phone's memory. Now, we will press select Install , then find and select the .IMG file to install Android 9 on Galaxy S9, S9 Plus, and swipe the screen to confirm installation.
Step 7 : Similarly, we will install the .Zip file with Gapps by pressing select Install from this TWRP Recovery interface screen.
Step 8 : Once we have installed the Android 9 Rom and Gapps files one after the other, we will press Reboot Now to restart the phone and complete the Android 9 Pie installation process on Galaxy S9, S9 Plus.
