Installation Guide
Step 1: Open the folder containing the IrfanView setup file named irfanview.exe, or you can download the latest version here: Download IrfanView
Step 2: The manufacturer allows you to place shortcuts of the utility on the Desktop, create Thumbnails shortcuts outside the Desktop, or shortcuts on the Start Menu of Windows.
You can choose one of these 3 methods or select all methods, deselect all 3 methods by clicking Uncheck all.
Additionally, in this window, you can change the installation file path when selecting Browser or use the default path (usually found on drive C:\).
Click Next to proceed to the next step.
Step 3: In the next operation, display the latest information, features in the version you are installing.
Click Next.
Step 4: Choose the image formats you want the program to use, select one by clicking Images only or all formats by clicking Select all.
Click Next to proceed further.
Step 5: Choose the directory for the utility after installation: place it directly within the IrfanView folder when selecting IrfanView folder or in the User's Application Data folder when selecting User's Application Data folder (if you are using Windows Vista/7/8).
Click Next.
Step 6: Wait for a certain period for the installation process to begin. Choose Start IrfanView if you want to launch the utility immediately after the IrfanView installation process is completed.
