2. Download iTunes on Windows 11
Before downloading iTunes on Windows 11, check whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit to download the appropriate version. You can check your Windows 11 version as follows:
Step 1: Type Settings in the search box of the Start menu, select Open.

Step 1: Choose the Podcast menu below or use the Ctrl + 4 combination.

Afterward, Podcasts will download content on your iPhone. If iTunes takes too long to download, close the software and reopen it.
Once you complete the setup steps, you can download Podcasts from the iTunes store on PC.

4.1. Adding Music from PC to iTunes

Step 1: Open the Movies menu, then choose File > Add File to Library / Add Folder to Library.
Select the video you want to add and choose Open. Currently, iTunes supports the formats .mov, .mp4, and .m4v.
The added videos will be located in the Home Videos section.
However, you can also change the format to move these videos to the TV Shows or Movies menu as follows:
Step 1: Hover over the video you want to move, click on the three-dot icon:

Step 3: Choose Options.

4.3. Adding Music from a CD to iTunes

Step 1: Insert the CD into your computer. The CD interface will automatically appear in iTunes. If not, click on the following icon:
Step 2: A dialog box will appear, asking if you want to import data from the CD into iTunes. Choose Yes at this point.
If you want to change how iTunes handles data when a CD is inserted, select Edit > Preferences > General > When you insert a CD. You'll find 5 options: Show CD (display CD), Play CD (play CD), Ask to import CD (confirm and import data from CD), Import CD (import data from CD), and Import CD and eject (import data from CD and eject the disc).
Step 3: To import data from the CD, select Import CD in the bottom right corner.
Step 4: The Import Settings dialog box will appear. Choose OK to import all data from the CD into iTunes.
While iTunes is importing data, you can stop this process by selecting Stop Importing in the bottom right corner.
If you don't want to add all songs to iTunes, choose Edit > Preferences > General > List view checkboxes.
Now, you can select the songs you want to add to iTunes by ticking the checkbox next to each song.
5. Syncing Data on iTunes with iPhone, iPad, or iPod
With iTunes on Windows 11, you can sync data on iTunes with iPhone, iPad, and iPod using the following methods:
Method 1: Using USB Cable
Step 1: Unlock your device and connect it to the computer with iTunes using a USB cable. A dialog requesting permission to connect iTunes with the device will appear, choose Continue.
Step 2: Choose Trust on your device. If you have connected the device to iTunes before, you can skip these two steps. For first-time connections, iTunes may need some time to set up and remember your device for future connections.
Step 3: Click on the device icon.
Step 4: Now, your device will automatically sync with iTunes. You can also choose categories on the left menu for selective synchronization.
Step 5: For example, to sync music on iTunes with the device, choose Music, check the Sync Music box, select the categories you want, and click Apply. The same applies to other file types.
Method 2: Using Wi-Fi
When using this method, iTunes and your device will automatically sync whenever connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Step 1: Connect the device to the computer using iTunes with a USB cable.
Step 2: Choose Summary.
Step 3: Choose Sync with this iPhone/iPad/iPod over Wi-Fi and click Apply.
After enabling this option, your device will appear in iTunes even when you disconnect the USB. After clicking the Eject icon, your device will disappear but will remain connected via Wi-Fi. When reopening iTunes, your device will reappear.
Step 4: If iTunes and the device don't automatically sync over Wi-Fi, you can still manually sync by repeating the steps and choosing Sync.
Method 3: Manual Data Sync
Manually syncing data allows you to control the specific data you want. This method works with both USB and Wi-Fi, but the speed will be slower compared to automatic sync.
To disable automatic syncing, choose Summary > Options >uncheck Automatically sync when this iPhone/iPad/iPod is connected > Apply.
When manually syncing data, you can drag and drop the files you want onto the device icon to sync those files.
Additionally, you can sync by clicking the ellipsis on a file, selecting Add to device and choosing your device.
To delete a file, click the ellipsis and select Delete.
6. Backing up Device Data to Windows using iTunes
When backing up your phone data to iTunes, you can restore it in case of device issues or when switching to a new device. To back up data to iPhone, follow these steps:
Step 1: Connect the device to iTunes, select the device icon in the left corner. Choose Summary, find Automatically Backup and select This Computer.
If you want to backup passwords and other information, check the Encrypt local backup option.
If you choose this option, you'll need to set a password for the backup. The next time you use this backup, you'll have to enter the password.
Additionally, you can backup your device to Apple's cloud storage by checking the iCloud option.
Step 2: Select Back Up Now to backup the data. If automatic backup is enabled, your device will be backed up automatically.
