Not a phone, not a computer, not a smartwatch, but the 2-in-1 washer dryer is the tech item that has pleased me the most in the past 2 years. I didn't realize its usefulness and sophistication until I started using it.
1. Why do I need to buy a dryer
Washing machines are already too common for everyone, so there's nothing new to say about them. They help us save time for other tasks. But why do we need a dryer? The main reason is because I live in an apartment:
- Apartment complexes don't allow clothes drying on balconies
- Small laundry rooms make arranging drying racks difficult and take up space
- Lack of sunlight in the laundry room leads to slow drying and lack of hygiene
- Dependence on weather, rainy days result in prolonged drying times and musty-smelling clothes
- Hanging and collecting dry clothes takes up a lot of time
2. Why choose an integrated washer dryer instead of two separate ones
People often say that integrated washer dryers are inefficient and clothes dried by these machines are prone to damage, so people still prefer to buy separate washing and drying machines. However, for the following reasons, I decided to choose an integrated washer dryer:
- Small laundry rooms make arranging two machines quite challenging, and many people opt for stacking the machines on top of each other, but I find this approach still unappealing
- Additional intermediate steps are required, such as transferring clothes from the washer to the dryer and activating the drying cycle
- Delaying the transfer of clothes from the washer to the dryer may result in musty-smelling clothes in the washer
3. Selecting the Appliance
Wash 12kg, dry 7kg: sufficient to meet the daily washing and drying needs of myself and my family in the future
Direct drive motor: This is crucial as it helps save a lot of electricity
Electronic balance system: This helps the machine reduce vibrations to almost no noise level
Maximum spin speed of 1400 revolutions per minute: ensures clothes are thoroughly spun dry after washing without relying on the drying cycle. When purchasing a washing machine, it's essential not to buy one with a spin speed lower than 1000 revolutions per minute, as the clothes will not dry properly
Heat pump drying: This is the most important feature as drying at low temperatures helps protect the fabric, saves electricity, and reduces wrinkles (combined with the machine's anti-wrinkle feature, resulting in very few wrinkles after washing) 
Heat pump drying also simplifies installation and maintenance. The hot air will be blown through this vent, and condensed water will be drained directly into the drainage pipe. There is no need for steam venting pipes like in conventional dryers
Fabric dust will stay in this compartment, just remove it and spray clean water after each wash, takes less than 30 seconds
Integrated silver Nano crystal washing rod will automatically release when in contact with water to disinfect: heard this from advertisements only, haven't personally verified it
The machine is beautiful, I mean really beautiful, this is the most aesthetically pleasing washing machine with the most beautiful exterior and electronic panel design I know. When not in use, the electronic panel will turn off like this

I'm someone who exercises regularly, almost every day I have 3 sets of clothes: for work, for leisure, and for sports, so my laundry needs are every 2 days. My experience using this washer-dryer continuously for the past 2 years is as follows:Advantages
Being proactive in wanting laundry done when needed. Put clothes in the washing drum, add detergent, and set the time you want to retrieve the clothes. The machine will automatically weigh the clothes, estimate the washing time, and finish at the exact time you desire. I often choose to retrieve clothes at 11 p.m. before going to bed if I wash early or at 6 a.m. before going to work if I wash late
Save space in the laundry room to create a shoe drying rack
Save space on the balcony for planting trees (illustrated)
No longer worry about hanging clothes and retrieving them when dry, no need to search for hangers. Clothes are dry, clean, and soft after washing
No more worrying about forgetting to take clothes out of the washing machine, causing them to smell and needing to be washed again. The washer dryer finishes the cycle with clothes dry and sanitized, even if left in there all day, it's okay
Extremely energy efficient, I wash clothes every 2 days but the electricity bill due to this washer dryer only consumes around 100 thousand, no more. I was very surprised by this so whenever I have dirty clothes, I wash them, no need to wait for a lot of clothes or a certain weight like beforeDrawback
Expensive, top-of-the-line, and packed with advanced technologies, the Toshiba TWD-DUJ130X4V washer dryer is very pricey, with an original price of up to 50 million, but I was fortunate to buy it during a discount program, so it cost me less than 20 million. A washing machine is an appliance that serves us for many years, so if this machine wasn't on sale, I would still buy it
Large and heavy, being a 2-in-1 integrated machine, it will be slightly larger than a regular machine, so you need to measure carefully before buying to ensure it fits your laundry room. Weighing up to 98kg, moving it is very difficultIf it breaks down, it will be difficult to repair due to the new technology. If it can be repaired, the labor and component costs are likely to be high, so you need to consider this beforehand.
