According to information from the International Cooperation Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Department currently only holds 5 applications for the position of Tourism Ambassador of Vietnam for the term 2014-2015. These applications include those from beauty queens Chau Mong Nhu, Huynh Thi Ngoc Han, Dieu Han, actress Lan Phuong, and teacher Hong Thuan.

The organizers are eagerly anticipating receiving more applicants to participate in the selection process for this position before the October deadline.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh - Director of the Department stated: 'If the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism approves regulations allowing for the selection of multiple tourism ambassadors for regions, countries, and territories, then the Department will invite 'Little Psy', a Korean boy with a Vietnamese mother, to be the Tourism Ambassador for Vietnam in this country.'
