Next, Chrome 89 is expected to bring changes to the Discover feed on the New Tab page, focusing on design aspects. Currently, articles in the Discover section are listed in cards. However, with the Chrome 89 update, they will be separated into distinct sections. The headline font appears slightly larger, and perhaps most significantly, the preview description section has been removed.
Additionally, Google is experimenting with a new interface for popup windows providing website information on Android. According to reports, users will be able to view the full address, information about website security, and a list of permissions granted when they click on the 'I' icon or the lock icon in the address bar.
Lastly, the Web Sharing feature for sharing web pages will be brought to Windows and ChromeOS computers. This feature allows web apps to send and receive data using the native Android share menu. If Google sticks to its schedule, Chrome 89 stable version is expected to be released in early March. Users can currently download Chrome 89 beta from the Play Store or via APK file.
