Following the release of the RedmiBook Pro 15 with an upgraded 12th Gen Intel processor, Xiaomi introduces its Ryzen series counterpart. The RedmiBook Pro 2022 Ryzen Edition comes with Ryzen 6600H and Ryzen 6800H processors, equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 graphics.
RedmiBook Pro 15 2022 Ryzen Edition Makes Its Debut
Equipped with a Ryzen 6600H 6-core, 12-thread processor (6nm process by TSMC) and an AMD 660M GPU (6 compute units) with a 45W TDP. The GPU is based on the RDNA 2 architecture, offering significantly higher performance than previous Ryzen generation's Vega GPUs.
Customers can also opt for the Ryzen 6800H version with 8 cores, 16 threads, increased GPU compute units to 12, and a boost in clock speed from 1.9 GHz to 2.2 GHz, still at a 45W TDP. Both versions feature a dual-fan cooling system.
Additionally, the device offers up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM (bus speed of 6,400 MHz) and a single 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Options include models with or without the discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 4 GB graphics.
The RedmiBook Pro 15 2022 Ryzen Edition features a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 3,200 x 2,000 px, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB color gamut coverage. It houses a 72 Wh battery capable of up to 14 hours of regular use.
Features Thunderbolt 4, USB-C (3.2 Gen 2), USB-A (3.2 Gen 1) ports, HDMI 2.0, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The RedmiBook Pro 15 2022 Ryzen Edition starts at 5,500 CNY (approximately $815) for the Ryzen 6600H configuration with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage.
RedmiBook Pro 14 2022 Ryzen Edition
This smaller model offers Ryzen 6600H or 6800H processor options, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB storage (LPDDR5 6,400 MHz and PCIe 4.0). It lacks a discrete GPU, featuring only integrated RNDA 2 graphics. Comes with a 56 WHr battery promising up to 10 hours of battery life.
RedmiBook Pro 14 2022 Ryzen Edition features a 14-inch 2.5K display, refresh rate boosted to 120 Hz, and 100% sRGB standard. Priced from 5,300 CNY (about $785) for the Ryzen 6600H configuration with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD.
