Microsoft unveils a lineup of new laptops under the Surface brand, including Surface Studio 2, Surface Go 4, and Surface Laptop Go 3.
While the Surface Go lineup was meant to be budget-friendly, the Surface Laptop Go 3 starts at a hefty $799 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. In reality, this price point isn't considered particularly affordable.
Furthermore, upgrading to the 16GB RAM variant will set users back an additional $200, bringing the total cost to $999. The product has been listed in the US and will officially go on sale from October 3. It's likely to be released in Asia soon.
Surface Laptop Go 3The Surface Laptop Go 3 is equipped with a 12.4-inch PixelSense touchscreen display. It features a resolution of 1536 x 1024 pixels, maximum brightness of 330 nits, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The laptop comes with a full-size keyboard and a fairly large trackpad. Additionally, the device integrates a fingerprint sensor into the power button, allowing login with Windows Hello and One Touch. Microsoft claims the laptop offers up to 15 hours of battery life thanks to the 40W battery, supporting fast charging.

Powering the device is the Intel Core i5-1235U 12th Gen processor. In terms of audio, it comes with Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio Premium and a high-quality microphone. The computer runs on Windows 11 Home, supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 LE. Additionally, it features a USB-C 3.2 port, USB-A 3.1 port, 3.5mm audio jack, and Surface Connect port.
