Swiftly following its global debut, the 2022 Audi A8L Facelift has officially arrived in the Vietnamese market. With a total of 3 available trims, pricing is anticipated to range from under 6 billion VND to just under 7 billion VND. Specific pricing for each trim has yet to be disclosed by Audi Vietnam. Positioned as a mid-cycle refresh, the 2022 Audi A8L boasts subtle exterior enhancements alongside significant technological upgrades, notably the all-new Digital Light LED matrix lighting system.The Audi A8L stands as the long-wheelbase variant, measuring up to 3,128 mm. It represents the pinnacle of luxury and spacious comfort for its occupants. As a large-sized sedan, the Audi A8L measures at Length x Width x Height dimensions of 5,302 x 1,945 x 1,488 mm respectively. With premium interior options abound, the Audi A8L promises to deliver truly opulent and luxurious space.
Still embracing Audi's traditional design essence, the A8 boasts a large hexagonal grille adorned with meticulously crafted chrome accents.
Equipped with state-of-the-art Digital Light LED matrix technology, the A8 sets itself apart as one of the few commercial vehicles to feature this cutting-edge innovation.
As a flagship Full Size Sedan, the Audi A8L exudes elegance and sophistication, seamlessly blending luxury with a hint of athleticism, exemplified by its sloping roofline reminiscent of a Sportback.
Throughout its exterior, the Audi A8L exudes simplicity in design, avoiding excessive angularity yet still showcasing modernity and allure. The chrome accents adorning the tail seamlessly connect the twin clusters of lights, adding a touch of sophistication to the bumper below. Employing OLED technology for the rear signal indicators, a rarity in the automotive realm, Audi pioneers the widespread adoption of this innovation, a feat perhaps first glimpsed in the BMW M4 CS (F82).
The interior space retains its contemporary design language from the Facelift version, featuring a trio of screens within the driver's compartment. The interior is luxuriously appointed with Valcona leather, wood trim, and metallic accents.
At the heart of the central control area lies a 10.1-inch touchscreen entertainment display alongside an 8.6-inch functional control screen. Depending on the variant, the entertainment system in the Audi A8L may vary; notable differences include the Bang & Olufsen audio system, available in two configurations: 17 speakers with 730W and 23 speakers with 1,920W, exclusively in the A8L Plus variant.
The second row seating space offers versatility with either 4 or 5 seats, depending on the version. The seats are adjustable in multiple directions via buttons.
The second row seat adjustments are controlled through a touch screen display and buttons. Controls for air conditioning, lighting, and sunshade system can be conveniently accessed through the touch screen, reducing the need for physical buttons.
All three versions of Audi A8L share the same turbocharged V6 3.0L engine, delivering a maximum power of 340 horsepower at 5,000-6,400 rpm and a peak torque of 500 Nm at 1,370-4,500 rpm. Acceleration from 0 to 100km/h is achieved in just 5.7 seconds.
The Audi A8L promises to be a distinct choice in the luxury sedan segment in Vietnam, alongside options like the 740 Li and Mercedes-Benz S450. Of course, the Audi A8L has its own allure, striking a balance between luxury and allure, making it irresistible for owners behind the wheel.
