After undergoing multiple minor upgrades, the all-new Honda Wave 125i has been officially unveiled. Significant changes in this generation include a new, sturdier and lighter frame system compared to its predecessor...The exterior design still retains the distinctive style of the Wave 125i series at first glance, but significant changes have been made to the details in each area. The front lighting area and rear signal lights form a characteristic X shape, with the headlights using LED technology. The instrument cluster has also been updated for a fresh look, adding a monochrome LCD display for gear indication and fuel level notification.While not undergoing significant changes in overall appearance, the 2022 Wave 125i has enhanced its aesthetics with refined details and lines, giving the bike a sportier look with sharp angles along its body. It still features a front disc brake system and a rear drum brake, along with the familiar 5-spoke alloy wheels.
The storage compartment has a capacity of 17 liters, and the fuel tank has a capacity of 5.4 liters, with the additional space largely attributed to the new frame design.Additional storage compartment at the front - below the handlebars.Still utilizes the traditional key lock ignition.The new display panel no longer features an Analog fuel gauge needle; instead, it uses an LCD screen for fuel indication.The new Smart Engine generation introduces a direct oil jet cooling system for the piston, promising to stabilize combustion chamber temperatures, reduce piston wear, and enhance durability of combustion chamber components. Honda Thailand has announced the fuel consumption rate of the Wave 125i at 1.4L/100 km.The Honda Wave 125i is priced from approximately 34 million dong to over 35 million dong for each version in the Thai market. The Wave 125i model is also sought after in Vietnam, with enthusiasts willing to spend upwards of 80 million dong to own one, despite its design similarities with the Future model.
