Land Rover Vietnam officially presents the Defender 130 to the domestic market, expanding the existing Defender lineup and offering more choices for enthusiasts interested in owning this vehicle. Compared to other models, the elongated body design of the Defender 130 provides a larger interior space for 8 people, with a configuration of 2+3+3. Additionally, the vehicle inherits all the outstanding values of the Defender 130 series such as luxury, off-road capability, and a host of modern technologies.
Exterior Design

The First Edition variant is built based on the HSE model and is equipped with a host of features such as Matrix LED headlights, second and third-row seat heating, 4-zone automatic climate control, Meridian Sound System, Driver Assist Pack, and Privacy Glass. All versions come with 20-inch alloy wheels as standard, along with the Ingenium 6-cylinder petrol P400 engine.
To maintain the distinct rear design of the Defender, Land Rover engineers have crafted a high-raised, yacht-inspired tail section to maximize off-road capability with a departure angle of up to 28.5 degrees. The surround of the LED taillights has been redesigned to maintain the three distinctive design lines that characterize the high-set rear body of the Defender.
The Defender 130 retains its wide access to the luggage area, with the option of matching spare wheel cover reflecting its top position in the Defender family. Standard Narvik Black roof rails adorn the top, while a range of exterior accessories - including Explorer, Adventure, Country, and Urban packages - are also fully available.
Spacious Interior
The third-row space is said to offer ample width for three adults. Other details enhance the third-row passenger experience, including heated seats, armrest cushion, convenient storage compartment, and USB-C ports for device charging on the go. Full carpeting is also installed.Additional amenities include added ventilation windows for the third-row seats, along with the option of Four-Zone Automatic Climate Control specifically tailored for the Defender 130 to enhance air circulation and comfort.
Passengers in the second and third-row seats enjoy elevated seating positions. Accessing the third-row seats is effortless, thanks to the second-row seats that can slide and fold forward to create a wide entryway. From the cargo area, users can lower the Defender's Electronic Air Suspension System via buttons to assist with storing cargo.
Standard features include the latest connectivity and chassis technologies – including the all-new 11.4-inch Pivi Pro touchscreen, which is larger than the one introduced on the Defender 90 and 110 V8 versions. Passengers can indulge in cleaner air with the standard-equipped Advanced Air Purification feature in the vehicle.
Displayed on a curved screen, the interface offers advanced functions and high processing speed, operating as soon as the vehicle starts, featuring a simple menu structure and the capability for over-the-air software updates (SOTA) to ensure the software is always up to date.
