According to the latest reports, Samsung will unveil the next-generation Galaxy SmartTag in the upcoming October. Following leaked real-life images, renderings of the SmartTag 2 have recently surfaced online, confirming its design prior to the launch date.
Galaxy SmartTag 2 will come in at least two color options: Black and White. Currently, it remains unclear whether Samsung will introduce more color choices in the future. The black variant will bear the part number EI-T5600BBEGEU, while the white variant will be labeled EI-T5600BWEGEU.
Leaked sources suggest that Samsung's next-generation tracking device will support both Bluetooth and UWB connections. With its new design, users can easily attach the SmartTag 2 to their keychains. This also provides a favorable condition for third-party manufacturers to develop more sophisticated accessories.
The first-generation Galaxy SmartTag.Samsung is likely to offer Galaxy SmartTag 2 separately in packs of four (2 black + 2 white), with part number EI-T5600KWEGEU.
Users can attach Galaxy SmartTag 2 to their belongings and track their location in real-time using the SmartThing Find app. This app also allows you to create a virtual boundary and receive notifications on your phone whenever the SmartTag 2 leaves the designated area.
