Monitor Audio recently unveiled its latest collection under the Silver Series 7G, comprising premium speakers with impressive designs while also supporting Dolby Atmos technology. The new products are available with 5 speaker enclosure options including Black Oak, Natural Walnut, Satin White, Ash, and High Gloss Black (depending on each individual speaker model). However, the special feature is that 3 wood veneer options will be crafted from solid wood instead of plywood like some other speakers in the same segment.The internal hardware has also undergone significant changes with Gold-Dome C-CAM tweeters using Uniform Dispersion Waveguide (UDW) II technology for accurate and detailed treble. The drivers also have a more robust overall structure thanks to a hexagonal concave design, promising smooth sound quality and extremely low distortion. Midrange and bass drivers still utilize Rigid Surface Technology (RTS) but will be optimized for performance.The driver surrounds have been slightly condensed, accompanied by silk-wrapped speaker grilles, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the product. Finally, there are two pre-setup home cinema systems: the 300 7G Dolby Atmos Cinema 7.1.2 and the 200 7G Cinema 5.1. The 300 7G Dolby Atmos Cinema 7.1.2 includes 1 pair of 300 7G speakers, 2 AMS 7G Dolby Atmos speakers, 2 FX 7G speakers, and 1 C250 7G speaker. The system utilizes the W-12 6G woofer.
