The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, the international version of the smartphone, has officially been unveiled. Similar to the X30 Pro, this device features a stellar 200MP camera, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, and notably integrates TurboPower fast charging technology, supporting 125W charging with the cable.The Edge 30 Ultra utilizes a 1/1.22-inch sensor, introduced by Samsung in 2021, incorporating Samsung's ChameleonCell pixel binning technology. This enables the merging of 4 pixels into a 1.28μm pixel, resulting in a 50MP image resolution, and the merging of 16 pixels into a 2.56um pixel for 12.5MP resolution images. Furthermore, the rear camera setup includes a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP Sony IMX663 telephoto camera with 2x zoom capability, along with a 60MP selfie camera.
Regarding video quality, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra offers the ability to record in 8K resolution. However, users can also lower the video resolution to 4K HDR10+ if desired. The main camera is also equipped with OIS technology, which helps to reduce shaking and produce higher quality images and videos.
