According to official notes, OPPO India is striving to achieve a 'perfect balance of stunning design, smoother performance, and fast charging battery' with the new OPPO A79 5G model. The device boasts a slim design measuring just 7.99mm thick and weighing 193 grams. The back of the phone features a flat design and a dual-camera system, with both sensors housed in a shiny Ring casing.
On the front, the OPPO A79 5G is equipped with a 6.72-inch display, supporting Full-HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and OPPO's all-day AI eye protection feature for a safe viewing experience. Under the hood, this smartphone utilizes the Dimensity 6020 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

In terms of photography capabilities, the dual rear camera system of the OPPO A79 5G utilizes a 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN1 main sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait camera (Omnivision OV02B1B). On the front, it features an 8-megapixel camera for users to capture selfies and make video calls.
Other features of the A79 5G include a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, running on the Android 13 operating system with ColorOS 13 user interface, support for 8GB virtual RAM expansion, dual stereo speakers setup, and dual SIM support.
The OPPO A79 5G has been launched in India with two color options: Luminous Blue and Mystic Black. It is priced at 19,999 INR (approximately 5.9 million dong).
