Introducing the realme GT 5: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Chip, 24GB RAM, 240W Fast Charging, starting at $9.89 million dong

This phone boasts extremely high-end hardware with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and comes with many other appealing features.

Specifically, the realme GT 5 is equipped with a 6.74-inch AMOLED display, supporting 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1,400 nits brightness, covering 93.7% of the front area, DCI-P3 100% color gamut, and a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. Inside, the device uses the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 12GB/16GB/24GB of RAM and options for 256GB/512GB/1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.

The photography capabilities of the realme GT 5 also show promise with its triple camera system, including the Sony IMX890 50MP main sensor, f/1.88 aperture, OIS support, along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The phone features a 16MP selfie camera on the front.

As reported earlier, the realme GT 5 comes in two versions: one with a 4,600mAh battery supporting 240W fast charging, and another with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 150W fast charging. Other features of this phone include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual Dolby Atmos speakers, running on Android 13 OS with realme UI 4.0. The phone measures 163.13 x 75.38 x 8.9mm and weighs 205 grams.

It is known that the realme GT 5 (150W) will have a starting price of 2,999 Yuan (about $471) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM configuration, while the (150W) variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage will be priced at 3,299 CNY (about $517). The top-end model with 240W fast charging, 24GB RAM, and 1TB internal storage will be priced at 3,799 Yuan (about $596). The smartphone comes in Silver and Green color options.
