As previously announced, today witnessed an event in China unveiling the new generation gaming phone by the brand, named Red Magic 8S Pro+. Among them, the Pro+ variant offers higher RAM and internal storage.

Red Magic 8S Pro LaunchesSimilar to previous Red Magic phones, the Red Magic 8S Pro series boasts a robust, square-shaped exterior adorned with bold gamer-centric designs. This duo features a Game Mode switch button and two touch buttons for playing graphics-intensive games. The cameras are vertically aligned, and a single LED flash sits above the lenses.
The Red Magic 8S Pro series offers users color options in black, silver, and a variant with a transparent back. They all come with beautiful RGB cooling fans, a triple-camera system, including a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera.
The Red Magic 8S Pro boasts an impressive design.On the front, the Red Magic 8S Pro series features a 6.8-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 960Hz touch sampling rate. This screen is notch-less with a hidden 16MP selfie camera under the display, delivering a perfect gaming experience.
The Red Magic 8S Pro packs powerful hardware.The highlight of the Red Magic 8S Pro series comes from the internal hardware configuration as these are the world's first smartphones to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version chipset with speeds up to 3.36 GHz. The GPU Adreno 740 clock speed will also be increased from 680 MHz to 719 MHz to enhance GPU performance. The 8S Pro+ model is also the first phone to come with 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB internal storage.
To maintain high performance over time, Nubia has integrated its new generation gaming phones with an improved ICE 12 cooling system. Compared to ICE 11 (used by Red Magic 8 Pro), the new system adds 5W/mK thermal paste and improves the air ducts used by the 20,000 rpm fan. The device comes with 520Hz touch trigger buttons for customization for each game title.
Red Magic 8S Pro supports various gaming features.The Red Magic 8S Pro series also features a massive 6,000 mAh battery with 165W fast charging support, allowing for 100% charge in just 14 minutes so gamers won't be interrupted for too long while climbing ranks. Other phone features include Android 13 operating system with RedMagic OS 8.0 user interface, Wi-Fi 7 support for extremely fast and stable connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 3-microphone system.
