Following the upgrade to the RedmiBook Pro 15 with a 12th Gen Intel processor, Xiaomi has now extended similar enhancements to its Ryzen lineup. The RedmiBook Pro 2022 Ryzen Edition, featuring Ryzen 6600H and Ryzen 6800H processors along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 graphics, is now available.
RedmiBook Pro 15 2022 Ryzen Edition Officially Unveiled
Featuring a Ryzen 6600H 6-core, 12-thread processor (6nm TSMC process) with an integrated AMD 660M GPU (6 compute units) and a 45W TDP. The GPU utilizes RDNA 2 architecture, significantly outperforming previous generations' Vega GPUs.
Options include the Ryzen 6800H processor with 8 cores, 16 threads, and 12 GPU compute units, with a clock speed increase from 1.9 GHz to 2.2 GHz, all within a 45W TDP. Both models are cooled by a dual-fan system.
The device offers up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM (6,400 MHz bus speed) and a singular 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Available with or without the discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 4 GB graphics.
The RedmiBook Pro 15 2022 Ryzen Edition sports a 15.6-inch display at a 3,200 x 2,000 px resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB color spectrum. It features a 72 Wh battery, supporting up to 14 hours of standard use.
Features Thunderbolt 4, USB-C (3.2 Gen 2), USB-A (3.2 Gen 1) ports, HDMI 2.0, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The starting price for the RedmiBook Pro 15 2022 Ryzen Edition is 5,500 CNY (approximately $815) for the configuration with Ryzen 6600H, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB internal storage.
RedmiBook Pro 14 2022 Ryzen Edition Overview
This smaller variant offers Ryzen 6600H or 6800H processors, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB storage (LPDDR5 6,400 MHz and PCIe 4.0), without a discrete GPU, only integrated RNDA 2 graphics. It comes with a 56 WHr battery, promising up to 10 hours of battery life.
The RedmiBook Pro 14 2022 Ryzen Edition features a 14-inch 2.5K display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and full 100% sRGB color accuracy. Priced starting at 5,300 CNY (approximately $784) for the Ryzen 6600H model with 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD.
