
In January this year, Vivo unveiled the design and specifications of the Vivo Y01. Now, after nearly 2 months, the phone has officially launched in multiple markets. The Vivo Y01 has made its debut on the company's official website in Africa.

The Vivo Y01 comes with a waterdrop display measuring 6.51 inches and features an IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels). The rear design resembles that of the Vivo Y15s launched in January 2022. The device has a compact size (163.96 x 75.2 x 8.28 mm) and weighs 178 grams.

The Vivo Y01 boasts an 8 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, along with a 5 MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Additionally, it features an LED flash below the rear camera and offers various modes such as Face Beauty and time-lapse. Under the hood, it's powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It also includes a microSD card slot for expandable storage. With a massive 5,000 mAh battery and 10W charging support, the Vivo Y01 is ready to impress.

The Vivo Y01 runs on the Android 11 Go Edition operating system with Funtouch OS 11.1. It also supports a micro USB charging port, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz, and 5 GHz. Furthermore, the phone supports dual 4G SIM slots. Available in two stunning colors – sapphire blue and elegant black. Unfortunately, pricing details for the phone are yet to be disclosed.
