Unveiled at IFA 2023, the Horizon Ultra by Xgimi promises to be the first long-range 4K projector with Dolby Vision. Running on Android TV 11, the Xgimi Horizon Ultra will hit the market with a price tag of $1,699.
The Horizon Ultra utilizes Dual Light laser beams and hybrid LED light to deliver a maximum brightness of 2,300 lumens. Naturally, this brightness is measured at the source, and when projected to a distance for a display space of around 200 inches, the brightness decreases significantly. With a sleek and minimalist design, the Horizon Ultra can also serve as a stylish interior decoration piece.
Defined as a premium offering within its product range, the Horizon Ultra boasts Intelligent Screen Adaptation 3.0 feature to automatically optimize image (brightness, contrast, color, focus, keystone, and zoom) when the projector is moved or when ambient light changes. Additionally, it can automatically adjust image color based on the wall paint color to ensure the best color accuracy, regardless of the projection surface. The Xgimi Horizon Ultra is equipped with a pair of 12W Harman/Kardon speakers to deliver top-notch sound without the need for users to connect to external audio systems unless they have higher demands. The device features automatic eye protection, Bluetooth remote control, support for dual-band Wi-Fi 6. Its gaming mode offers a latency of 18ms, supporting 4K output at 60Hz.
