Let's kick things off with the hottest new electric motorcycle in town, freshly launched in mid-December: the VinFast Tempest. This model falls into the entry-level segment, boasting a fresh, dynamic exterior and a plethora of exciting features.
The standout exterior features include the unique headlight cluster and front design, with bold lines and angular edges complemented by eye-catching decals and brand logos. The Tempest comes in six color options: Pink, Red, White, Gray, Black, Blue, and Dark Blue.
The VinFast Tempest boasts specific dimensions of 1800 x 710 x 1063 mm, a seat height of 750mm, and a ground clearance of 141 mm. This design facilitates easy maneuverability, even for individuals of shorter stature, and helps the motorcycle avoid ground clearance issues during movement. The elongated seat allows for comfortable seating for two, with ample legroom and spacious storage, ideal for transporting bulky items.
The VinFast Tempest comes equipped with convenient features such as a spacious 15-liter trunk, a digital display screen, Full LED lighting system, high-quality braking and suspension systems on both front and rear wheels, all with high-end finishing, and a durable European-standard frame.
The VinFast Tempest's E Motor engine has a maximum power output of 1600W, providing a top speed of 49km/h. The VinFast Tempest electric motorcycle is equipped with a 21Ah battery system capable of covering distances up to 80km on a single charge.
The price of the VinFast Tempest is 19,250,000 VND (including VAT, charging price, and battery cost).
2. VinFast Feliz Electric Motorcycle
Next up, we have the VinFast Feliz electric motorcycle in the mid-range segment. This model was released in early 2021. The VinFast Feliz boasts an eye-catching, luxurious, and modern exterior design, providing a confident driving experience for users.
The overall design of the motorcycle is sleek and suitable for all user heights, with a seat height of 750mm and a generous ground clearance of 145mm. The trunk space is exceptionally large, reaching up to 20 liters.
The motorcycle is equipped with LED turn signals and tail lights, especially the LED Projector headlights meeting European ECE standards. To ensure safety and comfort on every journey, the VinFast Feliz features Hengtong safety braking system and Kaifa shock absorbers.
This electric motorcycle uses an environmentally friendly DC motor with a maximum power of 1200W for a top speed of 60km/h. The 22Ah battery system allows for a range of up to 90km.
In addition, the bike also has two flexible driving modes: Eco and Sport, IP67 waterproof standard to protect the bike in flooded conditions. Along with that is eSIM connectivity technology, GPS positioning, and anti-theft features.
The current price of the VinFast Feliz is 24,900,000 VND (including VAT, charging price, and battery cost).
3. VinFast Theon Electric Motorcycle
Finally, the most luxurious electric motorcycle model from VinFast is called Theon. This model was launched simultaneously with the VinFast Feliz. It boasts a sophisticated, powerful design, speed, and modern features.
The overall design of the motorcycle is quite large (2006 x 800 x 1255 mm) with bold, sporty lines, designed by Kiska – a world-renowned design company. The ground clearance is 160mm, and the VinFast Theon trunk is spacious with 17 liters. The front end features a distinctive V-shaped headlight cluster along with unique dual-layer LED Projector headlights. The taillights and turn signals are neatly arranged underneath.
The bike is equipped with ABS Continental braking system on both front and rear wheels to increase anti-skid capabilities, along with modern Showa shock absorbers from Japan.
The intelligent features of the VinFast Theon stand out with PAAK (Phone As A Key) technology for controlling the bike with a single touch via the phone app; HMI connectivity – integrated Esim for automatic error diagnosis and GPS positioning; and smart anti-theft lock, capable of starting/stopping the engine within a 1-meter radius. Additionally, the bike features IP67 waterproofing.
The VinFast Theon uses the most powerful electric motor with 7100W, providing speeds of up to 90km/h and excellent acceleration from 0-50km/h in just 6 seconds. This model uses Lithium batteries with Samsung Cell Pin technology and Pack Pin technology developed by VinFast, offering a large travel range of 101 km.
The selling price of this electric motorcycle model is quite high at 63,900,000 VND (excluding battery costs).
