According to The Verge, iPhone users recently uncovered a hidden security feature within the upcoming iOS 11 operating system from Apple, designed for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices.
iOS 11 enhances security by introducing a new feature for emergency calls.
To access this new security feature on iOS 11, users need to quickly press the Power button five times. In reality, a prompt will appear on the screen if you or someone else faces health issues, allowing access to Medical ID and initiating emergency calls to 911.
However, the intriguing aspect of this new security feature is that once activated, it also disables Touch ID (fingerprint) on the device. So, if others attempt to help you call 911, they cannot access any data on your phone or tablet.
Owners will need to enter the passcode they set to unlock the device, even when this security feature is activated due to a mistake or any unforeseen circumstances.
