The report indicates that the new feature on iPhone 11 resembles Samsung Galaxy S10's 'Dual Audio' feature, allowing users to stream music or audio from their Galaxy phones or tablets to 2 connected Bluetooth devices. Similarly, iPhone users can pair and play music or audio through 2 headphones simultaneously, such as AirPods and Powerbeats.
Furthermore, Mac Otakara suggests another possible scenario where the iPhone could be connected to a car as well as wireless headphones, transmitting GPS directions to the car's audio system and audio to the headphones.
Current iPhones can connect to multiple Bluetooth devices (and multiple speakers via AirPlay 2), but they only support one Bluetooth audio configuration. In case of Bluetooth issues on the iPhone, you can refer to how to fix Bluetooth issues on iPhone here.
Samsung's Dual Audio feature, currently being rolled out, requires Bluetooth 5.0 technology; it's highly likely that iPhone will only need to support Bluetooth 5.0 even though Bluetooth 5.1 Bluetooth 5.1 is already available. If this happens, older iPhone models like iPhone 8, iPhone X, iPhone XS... will be able to receive the feature through the latest software update from Apple, iOS 13.
Apple is expected to unveil the next-generation iPhone, iPhone 11, in September this year. Additionally, there are rumors suggesting that the tech giant will introduce OLED iPhones with 5.8 and 6.5-inch screens equipped with 3 cameras, along with LCD iPhones with a 6.1-inch screen equipped with dual cameras, check out How to Use the Camera on iPhone here.
Currently, it's unclear what Apple will name the new iPhone, however, iPhone XI or iPhone 11 are potential names for the successors of the iPhone XS.
