iPhone's Dominance in the 2022 Best-selling Smartphone Chart

As per the latest report from Counterpoint Research, 2022 proved to be an outstanding year for Apple, with the company's iPhones securing an impressive 8 out of 10 positions in the ranking of the best-selling smartphones.

Among them, the iPhone 13 claimed the top spot with an estimated 5% of the total global smartphone sales. This model dominated the charts in the USA, UK, China, Germany, and France from September 2021 to August 2022.

In 2022, the iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max secured the top positions, with the Samsung Galaxy A13 ranking fourth. Following closely is the iPhone 13 Pro, securing the last position in the top 5. Despite being two years old, the iPhone 12 continues to be a favorite in certain countries like China and Japan. In 2022, it holds the sixth position, while Samsung's Galaxy A03 makes it to the list of the top 10 best-selling smartphones from the previous year.
