iQOO 11S featuring Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip and 16GB RAM will debut on July 4th

Vivo recently confirmed the launch date of the highly-anticipated iQOO 11S smartphone. The brand will unveil it at 7:30 PM (local time) on July 4th in China.

According to leaked sources, the iQOO 11S is rumored to be the first smartphone equipped with Qualcomm's upcoming premium chipset, possibly named Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2.

The iQOO 11S boasts impressive specifications

The iQOO 11S is now available for pre-order on platforms such as Vivo Mall, Jingdong Mall, Tmall, and Pinduoduo. Brand-released posters confirm that this smartphone will feature a flat display with a punch-hole at the center. On the back, the iQOO 11S sports a triple-camera setup with LED flash. It will be available in three colors: black, white, and lime green. The white variant even comes with BMW M Motorsport stripes.

While Vivo hasn't explicitly mentioned it, the iQOO 11S could be the first smartphone to utilize Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip. The phone will offer various configuration options for users to choose from: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.

The iQOO 11S is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display providing 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will house a Sony IMX866V 50-megapixel main camera on the rear, a 4,700mAh battery with 200W fast charging support.
