iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x will share relatively similar technical specifications, with the main differences lying in the processor and camera setup.
As scheduled, iQOO is set to introduce the iQOO Z8 series in China in September, including two models: iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x. Recently, the iQOO Z8 was discovered in the AnTuTu database, thereby unveiling additional information about the specifications before the launch date.
Specifically, in AnTuTu's performance evaluation, the iQOO Z8 achieved a total score of 972,222, comprising 286,473 CPU points, 240,807 GPU points, 221,449 MEM points, and 223,493 UX points.
The benchmark results also indicate that this phone will feature a 120Hz display, Dimensity 8200 processor, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, running Android 13. The device comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. In terms of photography capabilities, it will have a 64MP primary camera with OIS support, along with two 2MP auxiliary cameras, and an 8MP selfie camera.
For the iQOO Z8x, this phone boasts hardware prowess with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It has a 6000mAh battery but only supports 44W fast charging. It seems iQOO has decided to downgrade the fast charging capability of the Z8x, instead of the 80W in its predecessor. The device features an 8MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary sensor, and comes with 2 auxiliary 2MP cameras.
According to TechGoing, both iQOO Z8 and Z8x will feature a 6.64-inch LCD display, Full HD+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both come preloaded with the OriginOS 3.0 interface based on Android 13, equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an integrated side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
