The latest information about WWDC 2023 comes from an uncertain source, concerning flight details. Specifically, Flighty app developer Ryan Jones shared on Twitter the convergence of some flights in California on June 4th, with California being the location of Apple's headquarters and Apple Park.
Following Jones's tweet, other renowned leakers like ShrimpApplePro and SnoopyTech also agreed with this timeframe for the WWDC 2023 event.
Typically, Apple reveals the official WWDC event date a month beforehand. Last year, the company sent out WWDC 2022 invites to the media on April 6th, and the event was held a month later, on June 6th. For WWDC 2023, a similar timeframe can be predicted, with press releases possibly being issued on April 5th.
While WWDC's primary focus is software, there's a possibility that this year's event will include a surprise hardware announcement.
