Chinese leaker Instant Digital recently took to social media platform X to declare that Apple will make some announcements regarding new iPads next Tuesday, but refrained from calling it an official launch date. Instead, the company might provide updates on pre-order status and subsequent delivery dates.
Apple May Introduce New iPad Next WeekMeanwhile, China's IT Home website asserts that March 26th will witness Apple's release of a new iPad. However, the outlet seems to have based this launch date on the appearance of some third-party protective case listings for the new iPad on Amazon, rather than concrete information from a reliable source.
According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to release new models of iPad Pro and iPad Air around late March or April. The two new iPad Pro models are expected to feature a new M3 chip, OLED displays, slimmer design, landscape-oriented front camera, redesigned rear camera bump, and possibly even MagSafe wireless charging.
Two new iPad Air models are expected to feature Apple's M2 chip and a horizontal front-facing camera, including the first 12.9-inch model. Additionally, there are rumors of 'Apple' unveiling other new products in the coming weeks, including a larger trackpad Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro and a new Apple Pencil.
Gurman previously indicated that Apple won't hold an event to introduce the next iPad models. Instead, he believes we'll see the new 'Apple' products introduced through press releases.
