Assessment of Bioderma moisturizers: the top picks.
Talking about Bioderma moisturizers, there are quite a few options to choose from as there are numerous lines tailored to different skin types. Firstly, it's essential to mention that Bioderma is a renowned cosmetics brand from France. Established in 1970, it has truly established a strong foothold in the beauty industry.
The products of this brand stand out for their mildness, multi-dimensional mechanisms... Bioderma is not unfamiliar in Vietnam, many are aware of the brand's makeup removers, lip balms. But what about moisturizers? Let's dive into the following review and see if this product is the brand's strength or not. Rest assured, the assessments are objective for your reference.
Bioderma green moisturizer – Sebium Sensitive

Introducing the first product, it's Bioderma's green moisturizing line. This one comes in a sleek white tube with gentle green accents, giving it an incredibly soothing appearance. It's designed for those dealing with skin aging issues. This product works to brighten and firm the skin, reduce pigmentation, and effectively achieve a radiant complexion. With brown algae as a key ingredient, it deeply moisturizes and brightens the skin.
Rest assured, you'll see improvements in your skin within 1-2 weeks of use. Additionally, it contains white tea extract, providing excellent antioxidant protection. Since I've just started using it, I can't provide detailed feedback on this aspect yet. Furthermore, it's enriched with moisturizing agents like vitamin E and glycerin, along with zinc to control oiliness without clogging pores. That's the upside. As for the downside, the tube is a bit small and I'm not particularly fond of its scent, it's slightly unpleasant.
Bioderma Sebium Pore Refiner Cream

This Bioderma moisturizer is also green, but don't confuse it with the previous product. I must say, Bioderma tubes require careful examination; otherwise, it's super easy to mix them up. This one is gentler. Suitable for oily, acne-prone skin, it has an ultra-light texture that won't weigh the skin down.
Within the product, there's brown algae as well. This moisturizer contains Fomes officinalis mushroom extract known for its excellent skin-repairing properties, and abundant moisturizing agents like citric acid, glycerin, and salicylic acid, leaving the skin smoother and less prone to wrinkles. Additionally, it contains propylene glycol for anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, truly a fantastic solution for the skin. I find this one decent, except for the fact that it contains mineral oil, so those with oily, shiny skin should avoid it. This one has a slightly stronger scent.
Bioderma purple moisturizer

Introducing Cicabio Cream, perfect for those needing skin recovery. Even combination skin can use this product. Naturally, its main function is moisturizing. Its ingredients include grape extract, various types of vitamin E, coenzyme Q1, and Beta-Carotene to protect the skin from aging. Particularly, it contains centella asiatica to prevent skin damage and zinc oxide to boost skin health.
It also contains numerous regenerative agents to focus on preventing skin damage, making it appear significantly younger. As for downsides, aside from the high price, there's nothing much to complain about.
Should you buy Bioderma moisturizer?
I find it quite expensive with prices ranging from 350k-450k for a tiny tube. However, it's still worth purchasing. If you can afford it, invest in deep moisturizing or skin recovery.
