While Samsung's Galaxy S20 series witnessed valuable upgrades, these improvements may not extend to the upcoming Galaxy Note 20.
1. Will the Galaxy Note 20 Stick to a 60Hz Display?
Samsung's Galaxy S20 series experienced significant enhancements, but these may not be applicable to the Galaxy Note 20.
Samsung's Galaxy S20 series saw notable upgrades, such as a 120Hz display and the introduction of the high-end Ultra variant. However, with the Galaxy Note 20, Samsung might take a disappointing step back.
Firstly, there won't be a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, according to various leaked sources. Reports suggest that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20+. The impressive Space Zoom 100x feature will also be absent.

In the latest confirmation from Ice Universe, the Galaxy Note 20 is set to feature only a 60Hz FullHD+ flat display with sizable screen borders. Ice Universe emphasizes these specifications as disappointing.
According to Ice Universe, the specifications of the Galaxy Note 20 might even fall short of the Note 10 from a year ago, featuring a flat screen and very thin bezels. This standard version of the Note 20 resembles the more affordable Note 20 Lite.

However, there are speculations that Samsung might reduce the price of the Galaxy Note 20. Meanwhile, the premium Note 20+ is expected to come with a 120Hz display and QuadHD+ resolution.
If the price of the Note 20 proves enticing, the step down to a 60Hz display compared to the Galaxy S20's 120Hz might be acceptable. However, if the price remains high, it could be a challenging proposition for users to accept.
