Social media platforms both domestically and internationally have been buzzing with videos/articles claiming that after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine, people suddenly develop a magnetic field in their arms, allowing them to attract metal objects such as keys, spoons, or phones. But is there any truth to this phenomenon?

In the above video, a woman demonstrates the supposed magnetic properties of her arm by attracting a phone to her skin. The video was filmed in Namur city, where she had just been vaccinated. Dr. Dominique Henrion from the Namur Covid response unit confirmed the authenticity of the video, stating that it was not doctored in any way. However, the notion of developing a magnetic arm after vaccination is incorrect.

The pharmacy department at Namur University conducted several tests on vaccinated individuals and even on women in the video, all of which failed to detect any magnetism. Professor Jean-Michel Dogné hypothesized that vaccination triggers an inflammatory response in the body, causing an excess secretion of sebum, making the skin in that area stickier than usual.

To test the hypothesis, Mr. Dogné applied a layer of magnesium sulfate, which acts similarly to baby powder, to remove the stickiness on the skin. The result? The 'magnetism' completely disappeared, and no metal objects could stick to the skin anymore. Dogné also mentioned that for accurate magnetism testing, one could simply purchase a high-sensitivity military compass and place it near the injection site to see if it's affected. So, claims of magnetized arms or microchip/microbot-containing information in vaccines are incorrect, folks.
