Is Samsung's Galaxy Tab A9 about to make its debut after receiving FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance certifications?

According to Pricebaba's report, Samsung's latest tablet with model number SM-X115 has been spotted in the FCC's list. The listing confirms the tablet's name as Galaxy Tab A9. It will support 5G, Wi-Fi, FM, GPS, Bluetooth, and feature a 5,100 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.

Furthermore, FCC data reveals that the Galaxy Tab A9 will measure 210.7mm in length and 124.7mm in width. This tablet will also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C charging port. Another report confirms that Tab A9 has also been certified by Wi-Fi Alliance with model number SM-X110.

In terms of design, Samsung's upcoming budget tablet is rumored to feature a single rear camera. As the name suggests, this is the successor to the Galaxy Tab A8, which was launched in December 2021.

Recalling, the Galaxy Tab A8 was unveiled with a 10.5-inch TFT LCD display, 1,200 x 1,920 pixel resolution, using a 16:10 aspect ratio, and occupying 81.1% of the front area. Internally, this tablet uses the Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset, paired with Mali G52 MP2 GPU, with RAM options of 2GB/3GB/4GB and storage options of 32GB/64GB/128GB.

Samsung also equipped the Galaxy Tab A8 with an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP selfie camera supporting 1080p@30fps video recording. It had a large 7,040 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
