After introducing the Honda Vario 125cc and 150cc versions in the Indonesian market, Honda decided to introduce another version of the Honda Vario with an upgraded engine displacement to 160cc to meet the needs of users. The suggested selling price in Indonesia for the Honda Vario 160 with CBS and ABS brakes is 25.5 million RP (approximately 41 million dong) and 28.5 million RP (approximately 45.34 million dong) respectively.
Since it is a model manufactured exclusively for the Indonesian market, the Honda Vario 160 is not sold directly by the manufacturer but distributed by private dealers through importation. In March 2022, the first Honda Vario 160 motorcycles were imported to Vietnam at a price pushed up to 80 million dong for the CBS version.
Although the market has gradually stabilized and there is no shortage of goods, the selling price of the Honda Vario 160 has cooled down and decreased significantly by about 15-20 million dong compared to the time of importation.

Honda has also included a USB-A charging port with 5V power in the left compartment, allowing quick charging of electronic devices. The dashboard features an LCD screen, similar to previous versions.

Undoubtedly, it remains a sporty scooter worth considering for enthusiasts in 2022.
However, the bike isn't officially distributed in Vietnam, meaning buyers won't benefit from official warranty coverage, and spare parts and accessories are limited. Additionally, as it's a product sold in Indonesia, it includes an Indonesian license plate bracket, requiring additional expenses for a new front mask upon purchase.
Instead, at a similar price point, the AirBlade 160 is being officially distributed by Honda Vietnam, offering excellent official warranty policies, so users should carefully weigh their options.
