The Karofi N-e118 water purifier undergoes an 8-stage filtration process to ensure users have access to clean and pure water.
- The first stage - PP Sediment: Eliminates large debris, sand, and moss larger than 5µm. Additionally, it protects the RO membrane from clogging debris. This filter has a replacement period of 3 – 6 months.
The second stage - OCB – GAC: Removes Chlorine and some organic matter, safeguarding the RO membrane from oxidizing chemicals that damage the membrane. Replacement is recommended every 6 months.
- The third stage - PP Sediment: Removes very fine suspended solids below 1µm, safeguarding the RO membrane from clogging by extremely fine suspended solids. The replacement period is from 6 – 9 months.
The fourth stage - RO Membrane: Eliminates most solid particles, ions, and bacteria with sizes smaller than 0.1 – 0.5 µm, ensuring pure water. This filter has a replacement period of 24 months.
