Smart navigation and LIDAR mapping.
As the third model in Midea's latest series, the M7+ features intelligent mapping technology with highly accurate LiDAR navigation. The machine can accurately identify obstacles and automatically climb up to 2cm.
Thanks to this technology, the Midea M7+ robot can access every nook and cranny in the cleaning space, as well as optimize the route in a Z-shaped path for the most efficient cleaning. Moreover, the intelligent M7+ vacuum robot can clean even in darkness.
Wi-Fi application, voice control.
Compared to products in the Midea S8+ and M7 Pro segments, the Midea M7+ vacuum and mop robot is still equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing control via the MSmartLife app. Users can monitor all activities of the M7+ vacuum robot anytime, adjust restricted areas, perform spot cleaning, or set cleaning modes and virtual boundaries.
Furthermore, users can control the cleaning robot using their voice assistant via Google Home. This enables optimal time-saving in cleaning and process optimization.
Integrated mapping feature.
Currently, Midea is one of the leading brands in implementing the most intelligent mapping feature into its products. The M7+ vacuum robot also possesses this capability as it can automatically create and store up to 3 different maps. Moreover, the machine automatically recognizes each room and schedules the most efficient cleaning for each space.
Overall, compared to the premium products like Midea S8+ and M7 Pro, the M7+ vacuum robot is evaluated as the optimal feature-packed product but still lacks the premium experience. However, at this price segment, it is a fairly good choice for selecting a vacuum robot for single-floor homes or apartments.
