Specifically, information on a South Korean forum suggests that a Sony Xperia Compact foldable smartphone is in production. CAD drawings of the device have also been shared online, showcasing a sleek design with a noticeable gap when folded.

This design evokes memories of the first-generation Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. That's because Sony's foldable smartphone also lacks a secondary screen on the back. Unfortunately, we don't have much information about this phone yet. However, it wouldn't be surprising if this Xperia Fold (temporary name) emerges with high-end specifications and a hefty price tag.
