The Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite was a highly anticipated product unveiled by the South Korean manufacturer at the Unpacked event held in California on February 11, 2020. Many users were hoping for a premium smartphone at a reasonable price, similar to the Galaxy S10 Lite introduced earlier.
When will the Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite be released?
However, in reality, Samsung did not unveil the Galaxy S20 Lite, at least not at the event on February 11.

Regarding the Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite, although Samsung has not yet released it on the market, it is highly likely that in the near future, the South Korean manufacturer will unveil this premium yet affordable smartphone, similar to how they did with the Galaxy S10 Lite.
Expected Specifications and Features of the Samsung S20 Lite
Expectedly, the Galaxy S20 Lite will also be equipped with powerful specifications featuring either the Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 chipset, although the RAM capacity may be only 10GB or 8GB.
In terms of design, the design language of the Galaxy S20 Lite will also resemble the Galaxy S20 trio, although it will not feature the 120Hz refresh rate, instead opting for a conventional display, still bezel-less but not curved.
Regarding the camera, the Samsung S20 Lite is expected to also feature a quad-camera setup, although it may not be equipped with the ToF camera and telephoto camera with 10x hybrid zoom capabilities like the S20. Instead, it will have a slightly inferior camera setup, but still excellent for users to unleash their creative potential.
Especially, the lowest price of the Samsung Galaxy S20 phone is 999 USD – approximately 23 million Vietnamese dong, so many people hope that the S20 Lite will have a softer price, around 15 million dong.
The release date of the Galaxy S20 Lite is likely to fall in late 2019 or early 2020, similar to how Samsung did with their Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite phones.
