Is there a way to turn off predictive text on HTC Desire 816?

Hey Admin! I'm using an HTC Desire 816 smartphone running Android. Whenever I send a text message, chat, or type, the predictive text annoys me. Is there a way to disable it?

Hi there! Using predictive text when typing on smartphones is a default feature on many devices nowadays. Turning off predictive text is quite easy. Follow the steps below to disable it:

Step 1 : Go to Settings > Language and Keyboard.

Step 2 : Turn off the Spell Checker, and then select HTC Sense Input.

Step 3 : Scroll down and select the Advanced option.

Step 4 : Disable both Word Prediction and Next Word Prediction.

Now you can use your keyboard normally without predictive text. For Android devices, there are many beautiful and useful keyboard apps to try out: Emoji Keyboard, SwiftKey, and Lollipop.
