1. What are the Vsmart phone models?
Is Vsmart phone worth buying? Let's delve into the evaluations in this article. Vingroup has officially revealed the launch date of 4 Vsmart phone models on December 14th. These models are named as follows: Vsmart Active 1, Active 1+, Vsmart Joy 1, and Joy 1+. The Active 1 and Active 1+ are positioned in the mid-range segment, while Joy and Joy 1+ are in the budget segment.
2. Exterior of the box
Despite the products not being officially announced yet, there have been leaked images of these phones on various tech websites and Facebook forums. Vingroup has confirmed the existence of these phones, and the box casing for the Active 1 has been openly displayed. The exterior of the box is neatly packed, featuring an image of the device on the front, with the device's name and the company logo printed.
3. Design
Detailed reviews of Vsmart phones pay attention to the design, featuring a curved glass back. The back also includes dual flashlights, vertically arranged dual cameras, fingerprint sensor, and the Vsmart brand logo. The phone is made of metal material, creating not only an impressive, eye-catching appearance but also a sturdy, captivating design. Vsmart demonstrates how much attention is given to design to deliver the best viewing experience for its smartphones. Clearly, among many prominent products on the market, a unique, meticulously crafted appearance will greatly impress Vsmart's users. The phone has a full-screen design on the front; however, there are still bezels at the top and bottom, lacking the notch.
For the Vsmart phone Joy 1+, it comes at a cheaper price point, featuring a notch, a large 6.2-inch screen, bezel-less display, and a metal frame. As for Vsmart Joy 1, it has a plastic back, hence the lowest price point of Vsmart phones.
4. Specifications
The Active 1 has 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, while the chipset is yet to be revealed. The phone will be available in 2 colors for customers to choose from: black and gold. Vsmart Joy 1 and Joy 1+ have similar specifications, specifically 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. This line of phones will come in two color variants: silver and black.
As for the Vsmart Active 1+, its image has not been revealed yet, but many leaked information suggests that this is a high-end model bearing the Vsmart brand this year, featuring 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM. It will also come in more color options, including blue, black, and pink.
5. Android One or VOS Operating System
Android One is an operating system optimized on the Android platform. It's the purest OS as it doesn't contain any considered 'junk' apps. The OS interface only integrates basic apps like Google's Youtube or Maps. Its only drawback is that if you're accustomed to Android, switching to Android One might feel dull due to the interface.
Vsmart phones also run on their own operating system called VOS. This OS is also based on Android platform. However, devices running on this OS are still on the production line, so we can't know the interface yet. But based on the box casing and the images printed on it, it's predicted that Vsmart's interface won't have many changes compared to the pure Google interface.
6. Price Range will Cover All Segments
There's no exact figure for the price of each Vsmart branded product yet, but the selling price will cover all segments from budget-friendly to high-end. Therefore, all customer needs will be met by Vsmart whether your wallet is tight or not. Now, the domestic market has provided a variety of quality phone models for you to choose from.
