Issuing commands to Google Assistant without needing to call out (Hey, OK)

Normally, to activate the virtual assistant, we usually have to call out with phrases like Hey Google or OK Google, but in the future, we might just need a certain action for the virtual assistant to understand and be ready to listen to commands. In the video segment, there's a Nest Hub Max running experimental firmware, this feature is codenamed Blue Steel.

As seen in the video clip, the person filming stands near the Nest Hub and simply reads the command without calling out, much more natural and straightforward. Google might use the camera for recognition here, or it could also be an ultrasonic sensor to detect when someone is nearby. If you're standing still, the virtual assistant won't activate, but if there's movement or it knows you're approaching, it'll trigger Google Assistant. This would be a handy feature because often we won't need to call out anymore, or when playing music loudly, calling out can be difficult to hear.
