(National) - JackeyLove has provided insights on Riot's plan to reduce Yuumi's power in the upcoming update.
Recently, Yuumi, a champion in League of Legends, has continued to attract attention from the community due to her overwhelming strength. Despite being relatively easy to use, she proves to be excessively powerful. Even in a secondary game mode like Teamfight Tactics (TFT), Yuumi completely outshines other 2-cost champions. Moreover, with the right equipment, Yuumi can take down opponents with just one strike.

However, in an announcement by Riot employees, the developer is planning a comprehensive overhaul for Yuumi. Prior to this overhaul, Yuumi will undergo a significant power reduction in patch 13.1b. Many LoL players also suggest that Riot should lower Yuumi's price to align with the developer's goal of making her more accessible to new players.

In a recent statement, JackeyLove, the Marksman for Top Esports, shared his thoughts on Riot's project to reduce Yuumi's power and rework her. Specifically, JackeyLove commented: 'Lucian also received a slight power reduction, but it's not as severe as Yuumi's. Honestly, I think Riot should just remove Yuumi altogether if they've nerfed her power that much.'

Yuumi's imbalance isn't a recent development. Since her release, this 'do almost nothing' champion has consistently been picked as a Support, regardless of team composition. Sometimes, Yuumi is even paired with Lucian instead of more conventional choices like Nami. Additionally, Yuumi becomes even more valuable when paired with marksmen like Jhin or Sivir, as she supplements their weaknesses, particularly in terms of movement speed.

Currently, Riot has prepared plans to revamp Yuumi. However, undoubtedly, the LoL community will eagerly anticipate a comprehensive overhaul, to avoid the futile reworks of Riot's past, such as Fiddlesticks or Volibear.
