For many fans, Jankos is akin to the 'brand ambassador' of G2 Esports due to his cheerful and vibrant personality. He has been a part of G2 for 5 years, an extended period for a League of Legends (LoL) team. Hence, when G2 announced Jankos's departure, it caught many fans off guard.
Jankos himself is still not accustomed to not being a member of G2 Esports. Recently, this player accidentally joined G2's practice match, despite leaving the team long ago.
Moreover, when recounting this incident on a live stream, Jankos even inadvertently disclosed the new Jungler of G2 Esports. After being pointed out by fans, Jankos promptly spoke up to clarify and apologize to G2 for his actions.
'Do you know what's amusing? Just now, I accidentally joined G2's practice match. I even contemplated whether I should choose the blue or red team for practice. Then I spotted the name Yike on G2's side and wondered why there's a different Jungler. It took me a moment to realize that I had already left G2.' - Jankos shared.
