Jetstar Pacific has recently opened 2 flight routes departing from Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh to Buon Ma Thuot. The route to the capital of the Central Highlands was one of Air Mekong's successful routes before temporarily suspending operations.
The airline will operate Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats from Ho Chi Minh City to the capital of the Central Highlands with a frequency of 5 flights per week, departing on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Total flight time is 50 minutes.
The flight route between Buon Ma Thuot and Vinh operates 3 flights per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays) with a flight time of 1 hour and 25 minutes.

'The two new flight routes to Buon Ma Thuot create additional opportunities for tourism and economic exchange through air travel between regions,' said Mr. Le Hong Ha, CEO of Jetstar Pacific.
According to Jetstar Pacific, this is the first time that low-cost air travel service has been officially deployed on the route to Buon Ma Thuot. Previously, the route to Buon Ma Thuot was well operated by Air Mekong. After this airline temporarily suspended operations at the beginning of March, other units immediately stepped in.
Vietnam Airlines announced plans to adjust flight routes following Air Mekong's cessation of service. The airline intends to increase capacity on the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route to Buon Ma Thuot. On the Ho Chi Minh City - Buon Ma Thuot route, the national airline will operate A321 aircraft alongside ATR72 aircraft to increase supply capacity.
