Continuing from the events in the third installment, this time John Wick will face off directly against the High Table organization. As he topples the underworld's leaders, he encounters numerous new adversaries, predicted to be more formidable than the previous three parts. Audiences are eagerly anticipating the showdown between Keanu Reeves and Donnie Yen.
Currently, on international review platforms, John Wick is receiving high praise: 88% - fresh tomato rating on Rotten Tomatoes, 77 points on Metacritic, a perfect 10/10 according to journalist Tom Jorgensen from IGN, and 90/100 from The Hollywood Reporter .
On social media, primarily Twitter, fans are not sparing any compliments for John Wick 4.
Molly Edwards, a contributor from GamesRadar , remarks: “ John Wick 4 is on an entirely different level. The action sequences are the most outstanding in the entire series. However, not everyone is a fan of John Wick 4 . The discerning critics at The Guardian give it a 2/5 rating, stating that the film is overly long, filled with details, and lacks anything beyond showcasing action sequences.
“John Wick has lost its essence since after the second installment; now the film's focus is solely on expanding the world, seemingly to create excuses for sequels or spin-offs,” The Guardian bluntly declares.
John Wick: Chapter 4 is set to release on March 24th.
